The temp rating of THNN being 90 or 105 is you wasting electrical energy that you are paying for and going up in watts and resistance, raising the temperature of the wire when run at continuous high electrical loads. If the wire is making heat, on a regular basis, go down a gauge in wire, or up a size in thickness of the wire, to get rid of the heat losses.
