what should the battery bank read on a fully charged 42 volt golf cart system?? trhanks

Perfect. just charged them and its reading 44.3 on the meter. Just got a 42 volt golf cart and after I charged them I noticed that the charger that came with it is a lester 36 volt charger. but did charge the batteries to 44.3. Is this ok to use???? thanks
there are 7 6volt batteries.
