Hi, Our old motor home is running almost to the hot line on temp gauge. I just tried to remove thermostat to replace it. Both bolts are rusted tight. I don't want to snap them off. Any one have a way ...

460 thermostat housing doesn't have nuts, it has threads into the block under the housing. Sprays won't get in there. Use a MBFH(Medium Big Freakin' Hammer) to give them a tap on the heads. Repeat as necessary.
Correct.
Sometimes torquing to tighten slightly then back helps too.
