460 thermostat housing bolts,,
Hi, Our old motor home is running almost to the hot line on temp gauge. I just tried to remove thermostat to replace it. Both bolts are rusted tight. I don't want to snap them off. Any one have a way ...

Hi, I am going to try pounding on the bolts, or maybe I can get my air hammer in there to pound on them. To hot outside to mess with it today.
It may have been running hot for a long time. The gauge was not working for a long time so I finally replaced the sending unit and now it shows running really warm.
It also has the spare tire mounted in front of the grille, was like that when we got it. I assume that is blocking allot of air from radiator.
