Hi, Our old motor home is running almost to the hot line on temp gauge. I just tried to remove thermostat to replace it. Both bolts are rusted tight. I don't want to snap them off. Any one have a way ...

I have heard these old gauges referred to as "idiot gauges" due to them being pretty un reliable. I installed a set of after market gauges since the only gauges that are still working is the fuel and speedo.
