50 amp F to 15 amp M pigtail adapter - CSA?

It sounds like you are looking for a Conntek 14223, which is a 15 Amp male plug that is pig-tailed to a SS21-50 (Amp) female twist lock adapter. You can find them on Amazon.

I just used the 50amp female to 30 amp male and put the cheap one piece 30 amp female to 15 amp male adapter.

I too would like to fing the 50 amp female with the twist lock RV plug to male 50 amp so when I'm in a campground with the power close to the trailer plug I can use my short 50 amp extension cord instead of the long power cord.

Thanks. I think I will try to drop by the storage facility where our trailer is. I will try to get a number off the female end of the power cable. Hopefully it's a SS2-50R connector. If it is I should be good to go.

CSA is a standards based organization, much like UL. Yes, numbering can be followed (in most cases) but a Marinco power inlet may be CSA certified and be different from other Mfg's. like Furuno (which also may be CSA certified). Sorry, it's about clear as mud.

Exactly. I just wondered if 5th wheels that are CSA (Canadian) are the same as U.S. trailers. If so this should work for me. My trailer is in storage one hour from home so I can't check easily.

CSA versus USA is the SIZE of the wiring, not the adapters. CSA in most applications is a Larger Gauge wire both DC and AC wiring. Doug

I certainly have had good luck feeding my off-road trailer 30AMP Connector with an adapter plugging into 15/20 AMP regular 120VAC receptacles when on the road and here at the house. Visiting family, some WALMARTS and hotels parking lots if you ask, even a Bass Pro shop in ALA one time. You never know when a 120VAC parking lot receptacle will show up. Just enough power to watch some OTA HDTV and re-charge batteries with... ALot of these places have 120VAC receptacles scattered all over the place for the outside maintenance crews to use. I have even saw them at McDonalds a few times.

The 50 amp RV twist lock female from the end of the shore cord
And the 15 amp male

I have never seen one you could buy the pieces and make your own

I have a 50 amp to 30 amp and a 30 amp to 15 amp dog bone adapters. What I was trying to avoid was using my heavy 50 amp cable when at home. I thought with a 50 amp to 15 amp adapter I would just use with a regular extension cord.
