I can see the benefit of using higher voltages on a homestead or something similar where you might need to run longer cables, but does it make sense for an RV setup where the inverter is right next to the batteries?
How about engine torque & RPM for an analogy:
Let's say an engine can put out 800 lb-ft @ 2000 rpm but a different one can produce 400 lb-ft @ 4000 rpm. Both are producing the same power but one uses more force applied at a slower rate than the other. If you put the 1st one into a 1:2 gearbox, it now outputs 400 lb-ft @ 4000 rpm.
Think of the torque as voltage and RPM as current. An electrical system with higher voltage can be "geared up" to produce more current but with less voltage and the same total wattage (power).
