50 AMP
A friend of mine has a an outlet and also the plug for a 50 AMP, the Red and White wires are mis-crossed. What will that do to his RV if he hooks it up? ...Thank you!

More than likely he has 50 amp 220 volts if it is at a house. What will happen is it will destroy everything electrical in his RV if he plugs it in. RV's use 50 amps 120 VAC. It is different.

I would hire a BONDED electrician to wire mine up and when he blows up all the RV appliances and systems then the cost is on him for replacement

This is simply not correct- a 50 amp RV hookup *must* be 240 volts, and it *must* be properly wired. The fact that the OP's outlet is 240 volt is no problem, the fact that it is mis-wired is a big problem.
