5500 watt Onan generator with only one 30 amp breaker?

I have set up our class C Minnie Winnie with two high efficiency ACs because the standard one will not cool it in the Texas summer. It runs fine on 30 amp shore power, and the 4000 watt Onan that came...

Never paid attention before. I just serviced a 10K Diesel RV Onan. It showed a 45 amp DOUBLE POLE BREAKER. Since the 10K Onan is rated at 83 amps, that means you can double the listing of the Breaker. So, your 2 Pole 30 amp breaker has the 48 amp capability. Doug
