Personally, I'd have to go with the two sixers...Why??
1) Less cost, less weight, and smaller footprint than three 12v.
2) A heavier duty battery, thicker plates - a TRUE Deep Cycle that can take lots of cycling abuse, with longer life.
3) Two six volt 232a/h (in series) at a hypothetical 80% DOD (depth of discharge), vs three 12v 300a/h at only 50% DOD... Considering DOD, 35 more 'usable amp hrs' with two 6v than three 12v.
So as I see it, predictably controversial - though in application a real NO Brainer...
