6 volt versus 12 volt HELP
I have 2005 keystone TT I currently have 2 12 volt batteries that are shot. I have enough space for 3 batteries. About half our camping is boondocking. Am I better off replacing with 2 6 volt batter...

What's the combining electrical equation that gives the resulting amp hours from wiring up three 6 volt batteries so as to give 12 volts? I know how to do it - just wondering what's the slight, if any, amp hour benefit in doing so?
I'd prefer three 12 volt (deep cycle) batteries wired up in balanced parallel over three 6 volt golf cart batteries wired up in unbalanced parallel-series.
