6 volt versus 12 volt HELP
I have 2005 keystone TT I currently have 2 12 volt batteries that are shot. I have enough space for 3 batteries. About half our camping is boondocking. Am I better off replacing with 2 6 volt batter...

Unfortunately there really is no correct answer that the forum can give you without knowing a lot more information about your rig and more specifically battery usage.
I think the bottom line is if you really want the best battery for your use you want to buy a true deep cycle battery. This means things like the Marine/RV battery at Walmart, Autozone etc is not the battery you want. To get a true deep cycle you need a specialty battery like the Trojan or Lifeline, US Battery 31 that people mention. But those are expensive. In my opinion you get the best bang for your buck by far by going with the 6 volt golf cart battery from Costco. These batteries are almost half the cost of a Trojan battery and only have a few less AH's.
So if money is no object go with some 12V deep cycle batteries. But if money is a bit tight, you might want to consider the Costco golf cart batteries.
