With a little planning, 2-6 volt wet cell batteries, 200 watts or solar and a genny will work well for 3-4 days of dry camping, which is about the limit of your tankage. Off grid, sustainability, hippy style Burning Man camping, you'll want way more solar.
The trick is to not use the high current AC appliances - microwave/convection oven, Keurig coffee pots etc. Think back to your tent camping days. Pull all that stuff out of the basement and use it.
