I'm not upset. My system seems to work fine. I am always thinking about what I'm going to upgrade or replace next. Since we do mostly boondocking I am always interested in what will last a full week or more in the wide open. But the way the article was written it seemed as though there was no advantage to opting for the extra expense of a 6v set up. It actually appeared as though the extra expense for 6v wasn't a match for a parallel 12v. Having read all the info posted here it is now easy to see that the high amp/hr 12v described in the article is not "real world", or at least not for most of us. This is all real good stuff and I a think posts like this are good for the group as we get a lot of ideas what folks use out there.
