Using "jar" shows that you know the ancient French history of battery inventing, and gives you extra points on this forum.
As we all know, it was M. Volta who put some electrons in a glass jar and got amperes flowing out of the top, so he said "Eureka", but unfortunately he was in his bathtub at the time and got quite a jolt. Ever since there has been confusion between him in his bathtub and that French Revolution guy (Marat) in his, as to just what happened there.
