Golf car batteries are lavish with lots of acid to plate ratio. Thick glass mats sturdy plate support, large sediment chambers, and very thick high antimony plates. Like putting an Abrams Tank in an arena with a BMW. The BMW will get better gas mileage and run circles around the tank. The end result is inevitable and 3" thick.
