You will need to remove the converter from the RV to get to the internals. Four wires two for the AC input and two for the DC output nothing more
Typically two screws hold it in place it then slides out forward
In order to get inside you will need to drill out the rivets holding the case together - it's a simple 5 or 10 minute job
A suggestion
Might want to use compressed air instead of a vacuum to get that dust out
