I've read the same thing but then again,I have read what trash Renogy is but I haven't had any issues with the two I have,other than smallish connection ports..I'm looking to get an MPPT 20 amp controller here very soon soon..Epever was on my short list but I may just go Victron and be done with it ..
I have been using a renogy 40amp mppt for two years now and love it. works great, totaly programable if you want or just use there presets.
