89 Fleetwood Southwind power vent fan - no 12V

A long shot but could someone have run the wire from the main control panel under the hood to the fan?
On my 1990 the panel is on the drivers side readily visible when you lift the hood.
My panel is labelled very poorly so I have to really search if I have a problem there.
