Some of those little gennys have a 12VDC output, and others like Harbor Fright's don't. I borrowed one for the last storm we had, just a little "bigger" in wattage, and had the 12VDC also. Forget where it came from. We didn't actually get to run it, since the power came back on before I could get to it and set it up. Owner said it could run a residential refrigerator-freezer and a couple lights.
