The King 951G I have is not quite the same as the HF one for its specs, being much quieter running and a little higher in watts. It looks identical and has the same engine it seems. I have watched a youtube of the HF one.
Biggest problem now is starting it, which pulls the gen towards you instead of pulling the cord out. It is also for right-handers who can use their left to hold the gen while pulling the cord mounted on the right side of the gen. Even then you need to get on your knees down level with the gen on the ground. If you pull with your left, you can't reach over with your right to brace the gen properly. I need a way to anchor the gen while pulling on the starter cord. Tie it to a tree or something.
I don't intend to Earth ground it. It ran the Vector charger ok without using a surge protector. The youtube guy with the HF one didn't do any of that either.
