Thanks I missed that about running out of gas. EDIT--where is that???
It seems to want one of those $200 surge guard protectors like I have for the 5er ????(I don't have EMS) and says those power bars with surge protectors don't count ISTR. More research by me needed!
I am confused about the King950G vs the King951G which is what I have. King links the manual for the 950 but not for the 951. They do have different parts lists for each. They told me on the phone the drive pawl for the 951 is different from the 950's but I can't confirm. So how can the Chinese eBay assembled recoil starter that supposedly fits a lot of these things work? I'll find out when that gets here I guess.
They both have 63CC engines but the 950 says 1.5 hp in the specs and the 951 says it's 2 hp on it.
The HF gen is a little different but it has other info in its manual which is helpful. The HP spec says 91 or 82 dB, but the King says 57. On the youtube HF it was loud compared with my King, so I believe those dB as listed. The King is no Honda 3000, but it isn't too bad on the ears.
It just can't be all that complicated. It is just a little thing like a lawnmower or whatever. Oh well.
