while picking up some odds and ends for our upcoming trip, we poked around in some new trailers for some giggles fire places and tiny walled off bedrooms? obviously rv designers don't go camping! ...

all of the trailers we've had, had 2 way fridges, mostly 10 yrs old plus and have all operated perfectly
to me the only downside is turning them off when I cant park level for a while like in a crappy parking lot. turning off propane on a ferry is another quirk.
the thought of a fridge with zero moving parts is very attractive and the adsorption technology has been around for decades
solar power and big batteries to power an electric unit has its advantages too but at a significant weight gain. for those systems kwh of power generated vs used is the key
