Comparing Tucker to Musk is kinda idiotic,,
How was Tucker cars diferent, better then other cars of that time?
It wasnt..
Tesla on the other hand beats every ice car in reliability, low cost of operation and cleanliness..
Tesla does make profit no matter what the naysayers claim,,Tesla just reinvests expands and builds more Gigafactories and superchargers icluding world wide..
I woudlnt be surprised if someday Tesla became the worlds bigest ev builder..

From all latest reports I’ve bothered to read, Musk is going GigaBroke faster than a fully charged Model 3....For EV fans, no worries, there will always be manufacturers for EV’s...

Investors are okay with the financials of Tesla because so far Tesla sees reasonable margins on their products that are within industry expectations. Both for vehicles and energy storage and production products. The company financials are public and follow industry audit standards. However, he spends a ton of money on R and D as well as new product development and of course the ever expanding supercharger network. The tesla management mindset is that the supercharger network will set the tesla automotive products apart and make them more desirable than all the competition. This has obviously so far worked as model S and X continue to be in demand around the world. The upper S and X models are high margin products that generate a lot of cash but the model 3 will do it through high numbers. The first Tesla 3's being configured are pretty highly decked out but as the line gets shorter place holders will be able to get less expensive versions. Right now he is about 3 months behind on production numbers for the 3 although the serial numbers are starting to climb quicker in the last week so he may be getting thru the production bottle necks. I am with the crowd that doesn't expect to see 20,000 per month till end first quarter 2018.
We are a probably a couple years away from putting in a model 3 but really, even if we put in an order now we wouldn't get it for a couple years. Those are nice problems to have for a car company.
