Be aware that a normal refrig temps will vary by 5 - 10 degrees depending on a number of things. Items inside will usually hold their internal temps closer than that. So , thermometer accuracy more than 3-5 degrees should be as good as any. So don't be overly concerned about minor temperature variations as they are normal. What you are concerned about is if the refrig fails to cool for any reason. So what you really need is a sensor with an alarm if the temps get too far out of range. BTW, my insulin needs to be kept cool also, and I usually have several thousand dollars worth in the refrig at any time. At $300 per vial, cooling is vital.
