And the reason for this is that they are hiding the obvious. This is a very costly procedure and if it was added to your power bill you would see them sky-rocket. Just like Europe's power bills already have.

Other clues: they "piped the gas around". Well no, they used massive gas compressors and chillers to force it thru piping. Likewise they used much larger and more energy expensive compressors to force the CO2 down to 3000 feet. For every mile you go underground the pressure increases by over 7000 psi. So 3000 ft is around 4000 psi. Look up the price of a 4000 psi large gas compressor and check the running and maintenance costs. You are talking millions of dollars. Those are dangerous too, they tend to explode.
