ABS fittings
I have found a cracked 1 1/2" fitting on my grey drainage system but am not finding much of a selection of these available at Ace, Home Depot or Lowes. Are they phasing out ABS?

Why is it that some areas of the country use abs and some use pvc for drain lines? Does it have to do with toxic fumes that occur when there is a house fire? We only use abs here in California for drain, waste and vent lines. Not sure if I could even find any pvc drain fittings.
