Therefore, I have to wonder what kind of weak attachment could there be that whenever the A/C is impacted in the way this one was, that there would not be damage to whatever member receives the bolts? OP here. This is why I asked the original question. When I got up on the roof to check, the AC had only been shifted/twisted out of position by about an inch. There was no visible damage to the AC. When I moved the AC back, it moved pretty easily. Because it moved fairly easy I am not sure if there is any damage. It was only the weather stripping/seal that contacted my AC.
I have never had to take the AC off any trailer before so I don't know what to expect when I do this, or the best way to do it.
