I added a single 5K window unit to the bedroom of my old 5th wheel. Used the top as a makeshift platform for a night stand (to one side of the bed) It's pretty easy to make good looking flashing to border the unit on the exterior. At night, it is magic, with the door closed. Ten plus degrees cooler than before. No need to keep the canned peas in the kitchen cool at 2 AM. During the day the bedroom door stayed open. No need to fool with mandatory 50 Amp shore power with this setup, either. I used a 10.6 EER 5K window unit with remote.
