I doubt the FM, TV and VHF will be adversely affected. AM very likely and probably any HF ham stuff could be though.
Think of your plan of action to involve two different types of signals; radiated and conducted.
Some thoughts:
- Operate on separate power supply (i.e.; battery) from your RV if possible.
- Turn it off when interference is present.
- Try to shield the device, all openings, and wires.
- Use a separate ground (from your RV ground) for all shields and grounds. Keep power supply ground separate.
- Use (multiple) ferrite beads on all wires. May need to add tuned filters if you can identify the frequency.
- Keep all wiring short.
- Be prepared to modify your device and move wires around.
- Best suggestion (IMO), build it and see what happens.
I have been fighting RFI from my refrigerator module for a while now. There is no magic fix.
I hope this is some help.
Good luck,
Steve
