Take the cover off the front of the tstat and blow out the Tstat with PC can of compressed air to clean it and the sensor. Also, it also depends on where the tstat is mounted in the RV and if you have any AC air blowing in its proximity. Doug
PS. Is this a recent problem? It was working fine before? If so, then the cleaning of the tstat will probably fix it
Last, without knowing which model tstat you have, it may be just as simple as the 20 year old tstat is worn out(slider assbly and contacs) and needs replaced
Thank you, Doug. Yes it was working prior and accurate on the temp. I had my coach washed and I thought they may have been too aggressive around the A/C, but I have no idea. I cleaned the filter and had some "crackling noise" when I pushed it back up. But I waited a few days (to make sure it dried well) and it's running fine, just "off" on the temp. It is 18 years old. I am thinking I will have the tech we used before check it all out. It's a DuoTherm. I was worried the A/C wouldn't work and I was going to be in some really hot temps, but it's keeping me and the dog nice and cool.
Thanks!
Dale
