I never run shore power, but the inverter is on all the time, so I thought this would look kinda Kool on the output, right alongside the DC meter on the input side. But I had to pay dearly at $4.95 for this.I just gotta quit buyin these voltmeters. Its getting addictive.

I have the AC and DC mounted near the bottom of my steps inside the 5er. I wired in a on/off switch but just leave them on now. The light from them make a nice night light for the step area.

Wow. You must have money to burn. If you had taken the time to shop around, you probably could have saved a dollar, maybe a little more. :)

Not a bad buy. The only thing I don't like about the dual, is the digits are smaller.

It is addictive isn't it. I have AC and DC voltmeters and ammeters. The AC meter is voltage and current in the same package.

Could you install a 1/4 amp rated 250 volt fuse inline with the power for this meter or any other "inexpensive" always-on monitor?

Sorry to hear that I ordered 10 of the $2.37 voltmeters referenced in a different thread - received them in less than 2 weeks all the way from china on a slow boat - all of them worked perfect and are in use almost daily
