Ok this is the way I would do it remove the brass tee and add another tee with a short nipple in black pipe (used for gas) replace brass tee that was removed this will give the other port to run the other new gas line from, plus all other fittings needed to run new line in soft copper the length needed reach where to the quick disconnect will be mounted.
And don't forget to use pipe dope or tape(for gas) on the pipe fittings and do a pressure test.
