It's you're main power, so do what you want. Personally I don't get a system design that just squeaks by and is under-rated from the start. Factoring in ONLY the 12' of cable, you are coming up on -.4V loss, just in the jumpers with 2ga that I guarantee will heat up under load. That same loss with 4/0 is .1v, and this is just the jumpers. That may not sound like much but when you start pulling big loads and the inverter and fridge starts complaining, you will be rethinking this.
Winne underrated the cable from my batteries to the inverter and I had nothing but problems until I went through and rewired all the batteries and feeders. If you're going to keep the coach, don't cheap it over $20 of cable
