Agreed, unless they've underrated the Solar 30 by a healthy margin.
I'm not familiar with the Xantrex 40. Why replace it? What is its weakness for your usage?
Seems to me that if you plan to expand much over 600 watts, an MPPT controller may start to make more sense.
What panels did you decide on, and why? (I'm kicking around a choice of panels, and I'm interested in the thought process of others in choosing.)
