Richy2, so glad you didn't want to ask aboot a generator or running your diesel at 6am!!! Bet you're really informed now about putting in a connection for your LP firepit!
Here is what I did:
Find an elbow or tee that feeds one of your LP appliances and tee or elbow into that for regulated pressure. You won't use your firepit regulator. I used the regulator on another disconnect piece so I can still hook up a bottle.
Oh, for those who are going to jump on me for not having a valve, the disconnects I use are LP approved and have built shut off in each piece. 8 yrs, 3 trailers, NO problems!!!
