My camper has an auxiliary low pressure hose connection for a grill. I use a "campfire in a can". I removed the regulator from it, and plumbed it with quick connect fittings so I can easily re-install it to use it from a stand alone LP tank. Works very well. In addition to the above advantages, I like that it will cool off in a matter of minutes so it is not as much of a fire hazard. Also, I can pack it up much quicker after using it than a wood fire ring. It is lightweight and fits in a relatively small space. It works great for us.
