Adjust air pressure sensors on rims

I understand that dealers can adjust the differential in low and normal air pressure for the sensors on your rims. I want to have a greater difference in low and normal to stop the dash indicator readout coming on all the time.
Does anyone know how to do it or have they had it done to their vehicle. I have a 2008 Chevy 2500.
Thanks,
Wayne

The Chevy DRW models do not have tire pressure sensors. At least my 2016 does not.

    OK, that answers my question.

I don't find anything about tire pressure in the vehicle information display or in the Owner's Manual.

    Thanks,

  • It can be done by your GM dealer or someone with a Tech II.

using tech 2 build the vehicle
    navigate to body
select remote control door lock reciever
    select module setup
    select tire type (load range)
    and set pressures

    simple as that!
  • I have a 2012 Chevy silverado 1500. I was told by my dealer that they cannot adjust or change them . I ask a diferent question though. My read outs do not match any of my tire guages anymore and I ask if there was an adjustment for them. I was told "no" it is what it is. Not been very happy with them recently and the individual from the dealer has always been very good, knowledgeable, etc before.
