- joelabqExplorer IIII took pictures, measured, and weighed. I installed it as well. It does appear to have all the amps advertised.

Yes, I will when I get the new one I will pull the old one and document it for you. I should be able to do that in the new 3-4 days.
The 75 is smaller in size, so the 100 might not fit where you have the 75, depending on your set-up. joelabq wrote:

Custom cables here: http://www.genuinedealz.com/custom-cables- joelabqExplorer IIII was an idiot and didn't tell him it was an adjustable. We are having to swap things around again. So I'll have to wait for the right one to come in.

Good news. Can you answer the previous questions about the one you have now? length, weight, etc. Thanks - joelabqExplorer IIIErrin is shipping me out a replacement which he said would ship out yesterday via 3 day air and a return shipping label. I'll let you all know what happens as things unfold.
- jrnymn7ExplorerYes, two or three that we know of. But like someone else here pointed out, how many folks out there may have the wrong unit, and do not even know it? If they called Randy about low amperage output, he likely handed them the same line of******he handed joel. Sorry, but I'm just becoming very suspicious of the whole situation.
BFL, as much as I appreciate your kind nature, and peacekeeping/diplomatic approach, I'm just not sure that's what needs to be done here. I'm trying my best to consider both sides of the equation, but I'm just not impressed with pm's or bestconverter's so-called customer service, or lack of product support. They both need to prove to me they are worthy of my trust, at this point. Time and again, Errin has proven to not be very familiar with his products, and Randy, well... enough said.
On a lighter note, enjoy your weekend, everyone. - BFL13Explorer II

I talked to Errin, he said it was a 100amp unit but there was some mix up on who was supplied what kind (OEM vs more industrial type). I'm supposed to contact him monday and he will swap me out.
So looks like Randy just has some units that aren't up to the task?

Good news, but still confusing as to what you have there now. Please post more about it before you send it back. You did say it was the adjustable model ISTR.
-length in inches?
-number of fuses?
-does the on off button say "on off" beside it?
-weight in pounds?
-exact wording of sticker that says 100 (eg "PM4b-100 or whatever, maybe PMBC or PBCM , what?)
A photo of the top we can read any writing would be nice and one of the end showing the fuses if you could.
There have been at least three versions of the "car showroom" power supply such as the PMBC with the adjustable voltage option.
(IMO it is too early to be jumping all over Errin and Randy if it is just some shipping clerk screwing up. I agree they need to find the problem and fix it, and not be in denial, even if it is a rare thing. Two or three guys over three years time is not a big sample!)
