- LadyRVerExplorer IISorry, after I thought about it a minute, I remembered you said DOOR
awning. That is why I did the edit.
I have had success in calling manufacturer's customer service lines direct to get info on how to do something. If someone doesn't come come up with a suggestion, maybe try the Dometic Cust. Service.
Good Luck. - JoeHExplorer IIIThanks-- but the door awning is a lot different. There are several set screws and potential adjustment points, but I would like to know the best way to get it adjusted
- LadyRVerExplorer IIIs there a possibility you are over extending it? The valance (if you have one, if not, the ridge in the awning tube where you put hangers for lights)
should be straight down.
This happened to me and it would not close completely and going down the highway I thought it would literally come off the wall of the RV. Found out I
was extending it too far, which kept it from closing up tightly. No problem since.
On edit... I just read DOOR awning. Might not apply to that situation. Mine was the full awning.
