Adjusting Lippert Electric Slide Ram - options?

As you can see in this photo, the RAM for one of my slides rubs the frame and needs some adjustment: I see three options: 1) Drill a new hole where the ram attaches to the slide to...

Has it been that way since it was built? If not, I'd drop the bottom panel and try to find out what has broken/moved.
