I would like to see temperature adjustment for voltage (automatic compensation is too much too ask for).
Arrive at desired "I" value, hold for 15-minutes then revert to float.
With the Delco 1116412 voltage regulator -- it uses remote compensation via a thermistor attactched to the battery a pull up resistor can be installed in the PLIS -- PLFS voltage regulator "S" wire to maintain 14.4 volts @ 20c. A 200 ohm 10-turn pot would work fine in series with the thermistor.
The 412 regulator was used with the Cadillac ALENDE and Buick RIVIERA model CS-144 alternators.
