If 180W fits, go for it.
If 2*120 fit, this is better yet. I haven't seen anybody complaining about having too much solar.
Reason to buy panel and controller separately: you can choose a better controller. They rarely include quality controllers in those kits. 180W requires min 12A controller. In this range you won't find too many quality controllers that are adjustable/progammable with remote T-sensor and other bells and whistles, might have to buy a little bigger controller than you need.
