Hi,
The $19 dollar controller will work, but rather poorly. It doesn't have temperature compensation. It may never get the battery bank up to fully charged (which is already happening with the current dual purpose battery).
The Grape is a fully featured controller that will never need replacement and can be configured to fully charge the battery bank. It has the capacity to allow more panels to be added (for example as "wings" or as "awnings").

Hello All,
My current dual purpose has been losing charge (leading to inverter warning while driving/cooking), which is adding some urgency.
4. Controller - ALLPOWERS 20A - $18.99 (suggested by Amazon)

Or, should I go to this one suggested by Don? (adds $40 of cost)
