Seems like the next intuitive step is to measure/figure out if the mounting bolts are similarly spaced or not. I may do some more investigating in the engine and see what I can see.

I also sent a message to the ebay seller asking about this, as well as the author of the website article. We'll see if they get back to me.

I may be able to attempt a swap on Sunday.
