Solution:
Double the solar wattage or even triple it.
Use AGM instead of the extremely pricey Battleborn jars.
Talk to 2Oldman who has a working system using LI recharged from solar.

The only outlier is that he wants to remove and carry the battery somewhere to charge it with 120V. A better situation would be to charge the heavy batteries in place. More solar would definitely help or charge from the van's electrical system, either DC-DC conversion or inverted to a charger. There are some Li chargers that have an indicator as to "full".
