This is all new to me. I always got the idea you can use thinner wire with the lower amps that come with higher voltage for the same watts. But this inverter on battery thing is different somehow it seems.
2000w inverter to run a 1000w 120v appliance. Same size battery bank.
A. at 12v it draws 100 amps from the 12v battery bank
B. at 24v it draws 50 amps from the 24v battery bank
C. at 48v it draws 25 amps from the 48v battery bank
All at 1200w load out of 2000w. So how is that less work?
Is this "battery problem" with R at high voltage why they use those 48v inverters that work right from 48v solar panels?
