Aghhh! Enough AA and AAA batteries ALREADY

I've got battery gizmo this and battery gizmo that. Some I need to have portable. So I am ATTEMPTING to provide rechargeable LiION battery power to them. In 3.7 volt multiple (individual battery) increments.

But 4.0 volt regulated chargers don't grow on trees. They are expensive.

I'd sure like to find either a wall socket charger 1-2 amperes, or an alternative 120 volt AC to 4.0 DC regulated power supply.

Also 12 volt to 4.0 volt DC to DC buckers. Most adjust down to 5.0 volts.

Heck, I'd like to find a source or sources for all types of wall chargers, all voltages.

Also I seem to have a hell of a time determining the plug size, OD plus pin size for these power supplies.

Any ideas? Keep in mind where I live por favor. I would have to buy them online or over the phone and have them shipped to the PO Box in the USA.

  • There's cheapo switch-mode boost or buck converters on flea bay, straight from a gray-market factory in China to your door.

    BUCK OR BOOST

A trade rag article I read a while back theorized the chips are not genuine National Semiconductor (now part of TI), but are nock-offs instead. I bought a few of the step-down jobs, but haven't put power to them yet.
