Hi,
I am going to have to replace my single 12v Battery soon, for our TT (it is leaking from the top).
Doing some research, I have found a lot of good information on AGM type batteries. I see a lot of good things being said, and very little negatives. About the only negative I can find, is they cost more. However, if they are going to last longer, be more reliable, and have less issues, it seems worth it.
So, I wanted to ask the forum, if anyone has any negatives about the AGM type batteries, versus the flooded type ?
Thanks
Joe
This is a fairly good tutorial on the differences of batteries...
BATTERY TUTORIALAs a note, the purity of the lead used in the battery has much to do with the overall quality of the battery. If you do a bit of research you will see which ones use better materials. (I don't believe that site has that info, however if you dig deep enough at actual manufacturer sites.)
BATTERY CHARGING TUTORIALPerhaps this will help you with the difference requirements and tolerances of batteries and chargers.
TUTORIALS and FAQSome other battery related tutorials that you may find interesting.
Hope this helps!
