AGM batteries - are they better?

The AGM lower internal resistance allows faster charging at all levels.
I hesitate to quantify this but WAG 20% to 50% faster.
Also AGM will tend to handle higher discharge rates and might support a larger inverter with less amp hours. Especially conpared to GC2.
Also rests at a higher voltage so along with more amps should prove to be a superior starting battery if you have a cold diesel. Sears Platinum is king of CCA.
